PRO FEATURE · TRENDS & INSIGHTS

Was it one unusual night—or does the pattern repeat?

Start with one night of breathing evidence. As you record more, compare your own recent range with the number of nights in view. Pro adds 30- and 90-day windows; changes in the record do not establish a medical cause.

Start with Free to review your first night. No new hardware needed.

Current SomniSense Trends view showing seven recorded nights, sample count, BRI and SRI averages, snore intensity by night, and a non-severity interpretation boundary.

After reviewing a possible breathing pause, the next question is whether it appears again. Trends puts your nightly observations in a longer view, with sample counts and recording coverage. Compare your own nights under similar recording conditions; a change in the chart does not prove a change in health or the effect of a treatment.

with vs without comparisons

One night is a snapshot. A baseline needs time.

Nightly acoustic output can vary with recording conditions, room sounds, sleep timing, and many unmeasured factors. Longer views help you see the range of your own results rather than overreacting to one point.

What you get

30-day BRI trend

Daily product-defined BRI plotted with a moving average. You can see whether the app's nightly observations are generally rising, falling, or staying within a similar range.

90-day distribution

A distribution of your product-defined nightly values over the last 3 months. It shows the spread of your observations rather than reducing the period to one average.

Before-and-after observation

Mark a date when something changes, then compare the app's averages before and after. This can show an association in your record, but it cannot isolate the effect of the change. Do not adjust CPAP, medication, or treatment based on SomniSense alone.

Lifestyle Lab™ Factor Impact

Compare nights with and without a tag and see the observed difference in your own record. (Full limitations on the Lifestyle Lab™ page.)

Tonight Insight

The home-screen card highlights an association from your recent tags. Example: "Alcohol-tagged nights: +3.2 BRI on average." It does not identify the cause of last night's result.

Free vs Pro on this feature

Free gives you the recent 7-day view for a basic personal trend after the first night.

Pro adds:

  • Longer history retention
  • 30/90-day trends and distributions
  • Lifestyle Lab™ Factor Impact
  • Tonight Insight — the home-screen card highlighting a recent tagged association
  • Structured summaries for reviewing and sharing observations

Free keeps a recent 7-day basic trend. Pro adds longer 30/90-day views, longer evidence continuity, and the mature tagged-night comparison. Pro pays for continuity; the current night and core first-night candidate evidence remain available in Free.
