Plain-language summary
SomniSense is a consumer wellness monitoring app for adults age 18 or older. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, or prevent a condition.
Sleep audio is analyzed on the Android device and stays there by default. It leaves the device only when you use an explicit export or share action.
1. Eligibility and medical boundary
You must be at least 18 years old to use SomniSense. The app organizes snoring and candidate breathing-sound observations for wellness review. Candidate regions, BRI, SRI, trends, audio, and reports are not clinical apnea events, AHI, oxygen measurements, airway findings, diagnoses, or treatment guidance.
If symptoms or safety concerns persist, seek appropriate professional evaluation regardless of an app result.
2. Information on your device
- Sleep audio and playable clips: recorded, analyzed, and retained in app-controlled local storage.
- Candidate acoustic output: model-estimated type, time, duration, waveform region, and whole-night position.
- Preferences and permissions: settings needed to operate the app.
Raw sleep audio is not uploaded to SomniAI LLC by default. An explicit share or export action uses the destination you choose.
3. Information handled by the service
- Account email and authentication records.
- Subscription or entitlement status received from Google or the web purchase provider; SomniAI LLC does not receive your full payment-card details.
- Aggregated session statistics, product-defined indices, recording coverage, and tags used for account history, trends, and report generation. Raw audio is excluded.
- App version, device model, operating-system version, language, timezone, and security or diagnostic context needed to operate and support the service.

4. Use, sharing, and sale
We use the information above to provide accounts, entitlements, trends, reports, security, troubleshooting, support, and legal compliance. We do not sell personal data or raw sleep audio and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Service providers may process limited information under contract when needed to operate authentication, hosting, support, billing verification, or security. We may also disclose information when legally required.
5. Playback, local retention, views, and reports
- Playback entitlement: Free includes 5 audio plays per night; Pro includes unlimited playback.
- Local audio retention: Free uses a rolling 7-day local window; Pro may retain local audio for up to 90 days, subject to device storage and user deletion.
- Trend views: Free includes a recent 7-day basic trend; Pro adds 30/90-day views.
- Reports: Free and Pro differ in report content structure. Generated or exported files remain under the user's chosen device or destination controls; physical page count is not fixed.
- Server statistics: non-audio account history and statistics are retained while needed to provide the account and are deleted or de-identified after account deletion, subject to legal, security, fraud-prevention, and backup obligations.
6. Your choices and privacy rights
You may request access, correction, portability, or deletion of personal information, subject to applicable law. You can delete local sessions in the app and request account deletion through the in-app path, the account deletion page, or [email protected].
Residents with additional rights under applicable privacy law may exercise them through the same contact. We do not discriminate for exercising a privacy right.
7. Children
The product is for adults age 18 or older. It is not directed to children under 13. If we learn that we collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly in accordance with applicable COPPA obligations. A parent or guardian may contact [email protected].
8. Security and international processing
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information processed. No system can guarantee absolute security. Information handled by our service may be processed in the United States and other locations used by contracted providers, with safeguards required by applicable law.
9. Android subscriptions and Google Play terms
Google Play subscriptions, billing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds are managed through Google and are also subject to Google Play's applicable terms. Current purchase options and prices are shown before confirmation in Google Play.
Free basics remain available without Pro. An optional 7-day Pro trial may be offered as shown in the purchase interface. Google is not responsible for SomniAI LLC's wellness claims, support, or privacy practices except as required by Google's platform terms.
10. System requirements
Android 9 or later (current minimum requirement) is required. A supported Android phone and microphone permission are required for nighttime recording.
11. Acceptable use and intellectual property
You may use SomniSense for personal, lawful wellness monitoring. Do not monitor another person without appropriate consent, interfere with the service, attempt to extract the model, or resell the service. SomniSense, its software, product design, and trademarks remain the property of SomniAI LLC and its licensors.
12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Acoustic conditions, device placement, other people, background noise, hardware, and software can affect results. Do not rely on SomniSense for emergency, diagnostic, or treatment decisions.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SomniAI LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Rights that cannot lawfully be waived remain unaffected.
13. Termination, governing law, and courts
You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend access for material misuse, security risk, or legal necessity, with notice when feasible.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, subject to rights that applicable law does not allow the parties to change.
14. Changes and contact
We will publish an updated Effective Date and Last Updated date when this policy or these terms change. When feasible, material changes will be communicated through the account email, an in-app notice, or both. We do not promise a fixed advance-notice period.
